Octavius is a brand that provides us with a variety of teas. I had the chance to review samples of Octavius tea recently from their newly introduced range of tea collections. I made Octavius tea during my leisure hours in weekend and I really enjoyed every sip of that cup. They sell 7 variants of tea as of now and are planning to expand their range very soon. My review of their Second Flush Darjeeling Tea follows.
I had a pleasant surprise opening the package. The tea came neatly packed in a tin with an aluminum pack inside. The contents were whole leaf tea and I could see that all the ingredients are pure plus natural with no strange powders or mix.
This tea has a very pleasant smell and its rich aroma is something I admire. I generally cannot drink tea without milk/sugar as it tastes strong and bitter but this one was easy and tasty to drink.
Second flush Darjeeling tea has a dark brown colour and comes with a unique flavour that makes it special. The brewing instructions on the pack are handy. I put a spoon of tea in a dispenser and it is added to a mug of hot water. I then allow it to infuse for 5 minutes and consume. You can even drink by adding honey and ice.
The Octavius Darjeeling Tea is definitely a quality pack of tea. Darjeeling Tea is the ‘Champagne of Teas’. The tea is uplifting and soothing on my dull days. It is a real stress buster too !! Octavius Teas are perfect for gifting. There are 4 variants in Flush – First/Spring, Second/summer, Autumns and Winter. You can buy tea based on regions like Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgirs and Dooars. Octavius offers Back, Green, Flavoured and Herbal types of tea.
