My Take on the Product:
I have been using this Auravedic Clear Brightness Pulpy Face Wash with Neem Tea Tree face wash for two weeks now. I have oily sensitive acne prone skin.
The product comes in a lime green plastic squeeze out kind of tube. The packaging is cute and simple.I find the tube packaging to be travel friendly, hygienic and convenient.
This face wash is unique from the normal face washes. The texture is waxy and the consistency is thick and creamy. The face wash doesn’t lather. I tried with water and massaging on to palms but still it doesn’t lather. I think it may be soap free, not sure tough.
I applied it to the fingers and massaged on to my face. After rinsing it off and towel drying my face, I found my skin was clear, soft and bright. It effectively cleanses and removes dirt. It removes mild makeup.
I found that the face wash is not at all drying coz it’s creamy and hydrating.
My breakouts have considerably decreased as this face wash is chemical and paraben free. The natural Ingredients like neem and tea tree are soothing to my face.
I find that the face wash doesn’t give that squeaky clean sort of feel and it doesn’t give a refreshed feel. I find this face wash calming and relaxing.
The fragrance is coconutty, neemy and orangey. The smell is very mild and pleasant.
- Free of Parabens, SLS, Harmful Chemicals & Colours
- Tube Packaging is hygienic, travel friendly and convenient
- Creamy and doesn’t dry skin
- Controls sebum and reduces oil.
- Soothing Ingredients like Tulsi, Neem etc.
- Natural and not animal tested
- Gentle and mild
- Reduces acne
- No irritations
- Stings eyes if it accidently gets in contact with eyes
- Doesn’t Suit all skin types
- Some Ingredients are concentrated. So do a patch test and see if this product suits you
- Residue gets struck near the opening of the tube and you have to clean it often just like normal tubes.
- Not so easy to rinse off as it’s creamy. Splash lot of water to get rid of the product.
- Doesn’t lather
Recommendation: I recommend this to oily acne prone skin. Sensitive skin may have to take a patch test to check that the ingredients don’t give any irritation. It may suit dry skin too as it is not over drying but you will have to use a moisturiser.
Final Word:A decent face wash that is completely organic and safe to use. It takes care of occasional breakouts and controls oil. It is true to its claim. I like this face wash as it contains natural ingredients. You have to massage it to your face and hence it gives that instant brightness that lasts for sometime. Don’t expect it to do miracles tough.
