I give special attention to my hair now a days. Once upon a time , I cut it short and straightened it. I regret it coz since then my hair is damaged, dry and extremely frizzy.I have used Garnier Hair Care Range (Long & Strong /Goodbye damage ) before and I like it but those were a bit drying for my hair. Though there are chemicals, my hair gets cleansed and behaves well. I wish we get all the variants of that available in the US here in India ( Garnier is hearing my prayers 😀 )Before a few weeks, a surprise package landed to my destination from Garnier India.
It was a pack of their newly launched Garnier Fructics Triple Nutrition Shampoo and Conditioner. Thanks to the amazing team at Garnier !! Lets see the review of this range today. Unveiling the latest technology for nourished and strong* hair, Garnier Fructis launched its new range – Triple Nutrition along with its first ever Ambassador Alia Bhatt.
The Brand Says: This product combines the goodness of olive, almond and coconut oil along with fruit vitamins to provide nourishment and strength to hair from scalp through lengths to tips. My Take on this Range:
The Garnier Triple Nutrition range comes in bright and vibrant yellow plastic bottles with a green flip cap. The packaging with the tiny coconut image is attractive. The bottles are sturdy and the flip-cap shuts tightly. It reached me intact without any spillage so I guess this particular size is travel friendly and compact.
The shampoo is a sudsy fluid. It spreads easily to cover the entire scalp and the length of the hair. The shampoo is runny and it goes light on hair. It is free from the never ending list of silicones and I see some oils and natural extracts in the ingredients list instead of the usual huge scary list of chemicals.
The shampoo worked great on my dry hair and controlled my frizz. My hair felt squeaky clean. It doesn’t weigh down my hair and it doesn’t leave behind any coarse residue. I find it easy to rinse off.Usually after shampooing I would see some huge tangles on which the conditioner needs to work but this time I could see the tangles were very less.It lathers well and you require only a less amount of the product.
The conditioner is thick and creamy. It made my hair very soft and it detangled my hair completely. My hair didn’t feel stripped off. This duo is hydrating and moisturizing. My ends used to look like straw but this time it looks natural.
This range lacks the yummy fruity smell of Garnier. While some people have mentioned this has a fruity smell, I dont get any fruity smell. In bottle, it has a very mild light tropical sweet scent of sugarcane and coconut milk. The scent is not noticeable and on hair it goes fragrance free. The scent is low that I can barely get it. There is no heavy coconutty smell as expected by me. The light smell in the bottle doesn’t linger on your hair. I find it somewhat weird but it is good that there is nothing bothersome about the fragrance.
I used this at night after I came back from work and slept without tying my hair. I woke up with a soft shiny frizzless tresses. The oils in this duo gives your hair a shine. It tames the frizz well and makes hair more manageable. This reduces hair breakage and hair fall due to extremely dry hair.
I am sure it works tough I do not know how far the 10X claim works.
- Little goes a long way
- Creamy texture
- Packaging is good

- Hydrating and Moisturizing
- Softens Hair
- Makes hair shiny and manageable
- Tames frizz
- Hair appears fuller
- Leaves no itchy residue
- Doesn’t weigh down my hair
- Negligible product build up

- It’s strictly for dry and damaged hair, so it doesn’t help at all with oiliness. It makes your oily hair limp and more greasy.
- Product line not suitable for oily hair.
- Doesn’t contain the expensive oils like Avocado,Argan etc that the foreign variant has.
- Doesn’t do anything for dandruff and hairfall ( It doesn’t claim to do so)
- It has only a faint smell and goes fragrance free on my hair
Formulated with fortified fruit science – three weightless nutritive fruit oils (olive, almond, and coconut).Packed with ultra-rich and nourishing conditioners .This range is reviving, repairing and worth giving it a try.
My hair felt fuller and not limb. My hair felt softened and volumized and the curls were more defined. This shampoo gives best results only for extremely dry frizz prone damaged hair. It is best for use during winters and cold climate. The duo works in conjunction with one another. If you use the shampoo, you must use the conditioner. It is a decent drugstore haircare range that doesn’t hurt my hair.It has less chemicals than the normal ones. The results lasts for 3-5 days. I rate this range 4.3/5
