My Take on the Product:

I have tried this Garnier Goodbye Damage range before I got this pack to review. I used the shampoo and conditioner from the same range. It made my hair dry and brittle like straw. It gave me split ends. Sometime back, I got a pack of Garnier Long and Strong Shampoo and this Goodbye Damage conditioner duo. I have already reviewed the Long and Strong range here and I like it. I started using the duo and my hair behaved well. I found that the Goodbye Damage Shampoo is the culprit. It is not suitable for dry hair. The conditioner is not suitable for oily hair.
The conditioner comes in a bright orange funky plastic bottle. The conditioner is rich and bit thick. It transfers as a creamy layer into the hair. It is a decent conditioner and does its job well. I don’t find any miracles happening but this conditioner is hydrating and moisturizing and doesnt dry out hair. It has a mild fruity smell.
The conditioner makes my hair smooth and  more manageable. I find my hair less frizzy and it detangles easily.I don’t think it actually repairs damage and split ends but it has less chemicals than the other versions and has hydrating properties that keeps your locks sealed with moisture and soft. The conditioner is long lasting and little goes a long way. Only a pea sized amount is needed. It is affordable too.
  • Affordable
  • Doesn’t dry out
  • Seals in the moisture and hydrates
  • Less chemicals than other versions
  • Long lasting
  • Makes hair soft and manageable
  • Helps in detangling easily
  • Works well with other shampoos
  • Rich and creamy

  • Doesn’t actually repair damage and is a bit over hyped. Well none of the shampoos or conditioners does.
Overall Thoughts:
I feel this does the job of a conditioner well. I use it for my length and not scalp as it leaves buildup and residue. It doesn’t weigh down my hair. I get a frizz free fly away hair. The Goodbye Damage shampoo is not suitable for dry hair as it dries out hair and the conditioner doesn’t suit oily hair coz it is a bit greasy. The price doesn’t hurt and you can give this a try. I love the fruity fragrance and the less chemicals in it. It is a decent conditioner that you can use every week.
