Maybelline Colossal Kajal Coloured Kohl Turquoise Review, EOTD & Swatches

Hiya Girlies,
You all know about Maybelline Colossal Kajal in black. It was a huge hit and damn popular. My 4 yr. old cousin says to her mom that “I don’t want regular eyetex kajal, I want only colossal kajal”
I had four to five in stock at a time. Recently I came across this new launch from Maybelline- Colossal Kajal Coloured Kohl Turquoise and was waiting eagerly to flaunt it.
Read why it is a much raved product  from the recent new launches.

My take on Maybelline Colossal  Turquoise:

The product comes in a similar packaging to that of the colossal kajal but in a different version or rather a twist.
The difference is that the turquoise kajal has a blue strip in its name in the stick as well as the carton in addition.
The contrasting blue typography makes it chic. The bright yellow packaging is funky and girly.
The product comes in a retractable stick which can be twisted up and down.
The shade is a metallic blue with shiny shimmers. It is a bold shade which is perfect for the summers. It can be used as a kajal and as an eye liner i.e. you can wear it on eyelid and waterline too.
The texture is very smooth soft and creamy that it glides so easily. It doesn’t tug on application.
Pigmentation and colour payoff is super good. Just two swipes to get an intense shade. The staying power is good. It lasted upto 7+ hours. It just starts fading at the end of the day.it takes some time to dry and once it is settled it is smudge proof and water proof. It’s not easy to get rid of it easily. You might need a makeup remover.
The quantity is decent enough for the price.
Overall, it is a good liner to define your eyes with a pop of colour.
  • Soft & creamy
  • Smudge Proof
  • Water Proof
  • Doesn’t tug
  • Glides Easily
  • Funky Packaging
  • No irritations
  • Doesn’t sting
  • Safe to use on waterline and eyelids even with contact lens
  • Pretty shade
  • Super pigmented
  • Long Staying Power
  • Affordable
  • Easily Available

  • Ingredients missing
  • Delicate. It breaks easily. Care is required
  • The twist mechanism might stop working in some time as it happened with my colossal black kajal
I should have been more careful.Ouch it broke and my heart too along with it 🙁

Rating: 4.3/5

Recommendation: For those who love shimmers and bold intense shades. Greenish Blues lovers must try this. I think it is not more of a daily use product but suitable for special events or when you wear a complementary dress to that of the shade.

Final Word: I love this kajal. It is a bright blue with so many plus points that you will absolutely love it.It is multi-purpose as it is kajal cum eyeliner cum cream eye shadow. If it was some other colour I would have tried it as a blush too, Can’t imagine my cheeks blue. Gosh! I love this kohl.
