17 May 2015 Be a smart shopper with the Myntra App!
Be it browsing on your laptop or PC, walking through the shopping streets or hanging out with your friends on a mall; everything counts as shopping. Then what makes the difference between shopping online and offline? It is the unlimited connectivity, relevant searches and multiple screens that make a difference as we use technology to shop online. Shopping online is becoming shopping on the go as a result of the wide use of mobile phones. Shopping Apps on your smart phones are becoming more and more popular.
Earlier, we as a customer used to walk-in to a store, with little to no knowledge and relied on the advice given by sales persons. Today, most of us stay updated with the latest launches by researching online. We all try to get maximum value for the every rupee spent by us. We always need to feel secured about our purchases.
The first thing that I do is post the picture of the item that I wish to buy on my Facebook and ask my friends. I ask their suggestions at times if I am confused or unable to decide among any two. I read reviews and ratings given by other purchasers. I then place an order using the mobile shopping app. The same process repeats after getting my package. I post the images of my purchase on social media like twitter and Instagram and I in turn leave a review or rate the product. Everything happens in my fingertips with my mobile as I will be multi-tasking with something else. I shop as I hit the gym, as I drive or from my office. It is anywhere any time 24 /7 shopping without any restrictions.
In the olden days, shop keepers used to connect with persons in their neighbourhood and invite them to the store etc. Today’s world is ruled by digital technology. We used to get into familiar stores or the ones that were discovered fortunately on the way. Today we are on the lookout for online stores having phone numbers, google maps, different varieties, offers and details about their company. We feel that we have every right to be informed.
From word of mouth advertising, we have turned to social media for valued opinions and feedback. I know shopping online gives no replacement to that feeling of physically touching and holding a product. But with features like interactive videos, 360 degree view, virtual try on’s and gesture controls, the gap is fading.
Whenever I visit a store at the mall or supermarket, I have to carry heavy baskets and stand in long queues to bill which is difficult to manage. I get struck in the traffic and sometimes the stores will be closed. Only a few times you will exchange pleasantries at the counter and most of the times it is a frowning face. Most stores have only cash option but with apps like Myntra, you can pay via gift vouchers, credit cards, debit cards or even cash on delivery. There is no problem of change, coins or plastic bags too.
With shopping apps like Myntra, I add my favourites to the wishlist and I place an order later as per my convenience. I shop at the comfort of my couch and everything gets delivered to my doorstep free of cost.
I usually get discounts on already discounted items. You just need to click check the best price tab on the product page in Myntra. You will see a lot of offers, coupons codes and discounts which will enable you to save money. There are offers like buy 1 get 2 free. These apps have loyalty rewards too.
You can search for the items. You can sort and filter to refine the search results. In this way you can ensure that you end up with your perfect match and dream product. You are free of any tensions like car parking, driving, managing the kids etc.
India’s largest fashion retail website, Myntra has gone app only and their website is shut down. The interface of the app has changed and there are four new tabs. A ‘profile’ tab where the registered user can get an overview of Myntra’s collections, pictures, likes, preferences and much more. The ‘Stylist’ tab displays a collection of products that will suit your style, which means it will have recommendations exclusively for you. ‘Content’ tab will give tips on your style, look on the special occasion and the latest fashion in the world. You will also receive notifications about the latest trends, latest arrivals and discount offers and deals from the brands you trust under the ‘Updates’ tab. Myntra offers a personalised shopping experience via the smartphone app. It’s my mobile, my Myntra and my style.
The quality of the items for the price when you shop at Myntra will surprise you. The whole shopping experience at Myntra has revamped to a newer one. The packaging has become fab. All the products go through a quality test. The delivery is super quick and the returns are hassle free. They even have a reverse pickup service on some locations. Last but not the least, the customer service is excellent.
Instead of going out and buying stuff, I now stay at home and order items via Myntra. Myntra is a one shop stop for all my fashion and beauty needs. They deliver your packaging right from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. Opening my package feels like receiving a gift from Myntra. You can gift wrap your orders with a personal note and even gift vouchers to a friend.
Added features like Recently Viewed, Wishlist, Lookbook and Similar Products make this shopping app an All-In-One source for you to build your sense of fashion and wardrobe on-the-go. I believe the future of Fashion now lies in a mobile-only world.
There is no choice and you will have to continue to shop online only with the Myntra app. I think the change is for better and I love it considering the fact I spend most of my time with my mobile. My mobile is my bestie. Have you experienced this personalised change? What you are waiting for? Download the Myntra App now to join the bandwagon.
