Astral Moisturiser Cream Review Original

Hi,

I was contacted by a PR  recently asking if I would like to trial the Astral Moisturiser.I agreed without a second thought coz I have read rave reviews about it.

Thank you Ali for the sample and a cute note. The product came all the way from London safely before 2 weeks and I was excited to give it a try.

I have combination skin and I prefer only light moisturisers as heavy ones give me breakouts. I was using Loreal, Aloe gel and Oriflame creams so far.Only these 3 suits me.

I have one more addition to the above which is Astral.Read my take on the product.

Product Claim:

Price: £4.28 for 200 ml

Variants: Original and Light

My Take on the product:

The product comes in a blue tiny tub plastic container. It has a protective foil inside to prevent spillage which you must peel or lift to start using.

The product is rich white fluffy emollient cream. It looks greay when you initially take but as soon as you apply there is an instant soft feel with absolutely no greasiness.I love how creamy it feels.

It locks in the moisture for more than 12 hours.I applied this evening once and it was there till next day.

A small amount is enough per use and this tub may last one month easily.

This keeps my skin very hydrated and plumped. It doesn’t leave any white cast or a patchy feeling. On the good side it didn’t give me breakouts or irritations too.

You can even use it for removing makeup.

Pros:

  • Rich and Creamy
  • Easy to spread
  • Doesn’t clog pores
  • No greasiness
  • A blob of product is enough for entire face
  • Long lasting
  • Smells good
  • Very hydrating and nourishing
  • Multi purpose
  • Cute tiny packaging
  • Not so expensive

Cons:

  • No SPF
  • Tub packaging is unhygienic but pump wont work as the cream is thick.Wash your hands or use a spatula
  • As a result of tub packaging, one might take more product than required.Take a little amount, apply it in dots and spread.
Swatch:

Recommendation: Suits all skin types. A must have for dry, flaky and sensitive skin.Oily, Normal and Combination skinned beauties may use the light version.

Rating: 4.9/5

Final Word: Its so far the best moisturizer I have tried. Its an amazing product with a cheap price tag and you will never regret buying it

Astral is an amazing moisturiser, proven in double blind trials to be very hydrating, it is also incredibly versatile. It is an iconic beauty product that really works – its unchanged in its formula since it was created in the 1950s, and is perfect for all ages.

It’s no wonder that Astral has created a natural celebrity following of genuine fans, including the Joanna Lumley, Patsy Kensit, Jesy Nelson from Little Mix, Nikki Sanderson from Hollyoaks, Emma Thompson, Kate Beckinsale, Shingai Shoniwa from the Noisettes, Sam Faiers from TOWIE to name a few!

P.S: PR Sample.My review is 100% honest
