The product comes with a shelf life of 3 years. The shade I got is natural beige. Blue Heaven Artisto Face Stylist Compressed Powder comes in a black plastic compact case. It has a sponge applicator. There is a protective thin film, and a round mirror. The product comes in a silver and black outer cardboard packaging. The packaging is travel friendly and simple. There is nothing fancy but you cant complain the packaging since the price is affordable. You need to press a button on the case to open the compact. The mirror is handy.
The applicator is of decent quality and it might wear out after a few uses. These days we get applicators alone to purchase in the market, so that wont be a problem. You can use your makeup brush if you wish to. The applicator picks the right amount of product.
The compact has a faint baby powder kind of smell. I didn’t find the fragrance bothersome but some people may not like it.The powder spreads easily and blends quickly. The texture is soft and the consistency is smooth and fine. There are no gritty particles.
The coverage is medium. It didn’t feel heavy on my skin. It hasn’t irritated my skin or broke me out so far. It hides minor imperfections well and gives a matte finish. It is powdery and it might be a bit drying for dry skin. Dry skinned beauties have to layer it with a moisturiser. It does a good job on oily skin. The staying power is also decent.
It gives a natural look. I am more on the pale side so mostly I prefer light shades. The shade beige looks like a bit of tan orange on my skin. The shade beige suits Indian complexion very well especially wheatish skin.
There are only two shades in this range.
- Decent packaging
- Decent staying power
- Sponge applicator
- Not cakey
- Not too heavy on skin
- Blends quickly
- Matte natural finish
- Smooth texture
- Shade range is limited
- Ingredients are not mentioned
Overall Thoughts: It is a budget friendly compact powder and I dont have much to praise or complain. It does its job well. It is easy on the pocket. It is useful for daily touchups and college/school going students. My sister is using it currently. You have check whether the shade is suitable for you.
