L’Oreal Matte Morphose Foundation in 200 Apricot Beige !!

Hi all,
The biggest problem that I have with my skin is oil/shine and open pores the moment I step outside. I wanted a decent foundation which is not so heavy and which can be used daily.
I searched the drugstore stores and came out so confused as there are more than 1000 products and what if I ended up buying a wrong one. Then I got to get this L’Oreal Matte Morphose Foundation from a blog sale and I feel lucky that I got this.
Read its review today.

My Take on the Product:

The packaging is a medium sized cute glass jar with a magenta pink lid. It has an inner protective lid.You can use a foundation brush if you don’t like to dip in your hands.  I purchased the foundation in shade number 200 with the name Apricot Beige. You can feel that there is only 20 ml of the product for the 1095 bucks but trust me even if you use this everyday this will last for couple of months.
Soufflé is nothing but a French dessert which is light and fluffy. The texture of this is just like that. It is so soft, smooth and blends without any efforts. It has a whipped texture and is not cakey at all. It gives white cast on application which disappears in 2 minutes. It gave me an even complexion without any shine. I am not satisfied with the 12 hour claim tough. It lasts intact 6-7 hours only.
The foundation is not feather light and not so heavy. It is a heavy coverage foundation for me.
It didn’t dry up my skin and my skin felt natural and smooth. No dark patches, No blemishes just semi glowy skin. The finish is not totally matte but more on the matte side with a little glow.
What I liked about L’Oreal Matte Morphose Foundation:
  • It blends like a dream
  • A little goes a long way
  • Texture is smooth
  • No Break outs
  • No greasy feel
  • Quick and easy to apply
  • Packaging is simple and cute

What I disliked about L’Oreal Matte Morphose Foundation:
  • Limited shades. It’s difficult to find the right shade esp. if you are pale. Most of the shades look similar.
  • If you have dry skin, it will settle on the dry areas and appear flakey. So use a moisturiser.
  • If you use more of the product, it gives a shine which can be set with a compact. This happened with me.
  • Expensive but long lasting
  • Jar packaging is unhygienic but you can use a brush
  • Presence of silicones

** With a little dabbing of the foundation

Rating: 4.6/5
Recommendation:  It’s not water based and it will suit all skin types. It does its job well. Highly recommended. This doesn’t get captured well while trying to photograph.
Final Verdict: Great foundation. Easily lasts 6-7 hours. Good value for money. I can’t express how much I love this one. No cons which is hard to handle.
