Happy Pongal 🙂
Eyes are the mirrors of the soul. For some reason only heavily kohl-ed eyes look perfect on me. Applying kohl gives that extra elegance and sparkle. Never use any local products on your eyes because the skin around your eyes is super sensitive.
I was sent three products by Blue Heaven Cosmetics India sometime back. I tried the first product which is a kohl. Lets see the review of Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eyeliner today.
MUAH Kohl Pencil is a long wearing Kajal eyeliner. Provides the desired intense lines with even smooth application.
- Highly concentrated black pigment.
- Perfectly adhering to eye area, long lasting, water resistant.
- Soft, Formula provides ease in application.
- Non Smudging.
- Resistance to perspiration.
- Safe to use & no irritation.
Price: 125 INR for 0.25 g
Ingredients: Not mentioned
Directions For Use:
Start from the inner corner of the eye, mark a neat stroke on the upper eyelid extending outwards. Repeat the same on the lower lid.
Blue Heaven Soft Kajal Eyeliner comes in a retractable pen. It has a tiny detachable sharpener attached to its back. The pen is black and the fonts are white and blue. The outer carton is blue and black. The packaging is simple and catchy. I like it though it is not fancy.
The cap shuts tightly. I like the two-way twist up and the sharpener. The product is thick kohl. The sharpener works well and makes the tip of the kajal sharp. The kajal is jet black in the tube but does not give you a deep black shade with one swipe. It takes several swipes to get a jet black line. The color is buildable.
The Kajal is not exactly smudge proof and water proof. It comes off easily with a cleansing milk. The staying power is less compared to other brands. It is hard to set on the waterline. The texture is not so creamy and soft. The kajal doesn’t break into chunks. It stays for an hour or two intact after which it creases.
The product didn’t hurt or sting in my eyes. The ingredients are not known. The fragrance is Nil. It is drier in consistency and the finish is matte.
- Easy to wipe
- Buildable pigmentation
- Didn’t sting or irritate my eyes
- No fragrance
- Doesn’t break into chunks easily
- Efficient sharpener
- Minimum wastage of the product
- Product is long lasting
- Great for smudged look
- Staying power is low
- Doesn’t set quickly on the waterline.
- Ingredients list is missing
- Hard texture
- Not completely smudge proof
- Not waterproof
- Requires several swipes
Blue Heaven Kajal counts less when compared to the competitor beauty products. Even though I am not completely satisfied with this product, I like it for some reasons. I use this kajal for finishing and retouch at times with other brand kohls beneath.
It is not super hit and it is not bad. It is a decent kajal available in India within 100 Rs. I can call it a ” bargain” considering the money factor and equal pros and cons. You get this for a lower price online. You can buy this from flipkart for Rs 100.
The kajal applies unevenly so it is more suitable for soft smudged smoky look.
