Product Claim :
MUA have collaborated with Love Hearts to bring the sweetest lip balm collection in gorgeous collectable pots. With a moisturizing formula and a hint of color these balms are a must have. They have around 5 shades in this collection. They are:
- Kiss Me
- Hot Lips
- Sweet Kiss
- Great Lips
- Sugar Lips
Price: £2 for 10 g
My Take on the Product:
The product comes in a round transparent tub with a white screw top. The top has a heart symbol printed in red and some text. The packaging is cute and girly but unsanitary as you have to dip your fingers into it. You can carry it in your purse easily. It can be easily popped into your handbag. I love that the names of these lip balm are lip related and the packaging is too girly. The shades are summery and bright pastel colours.
The tub holds 10 g of product which is awesome. The price is very economical and the quantity is long lasting. The lip balm is creamy and smooth in texture. The consistency is like a jelly kind. Kiss me is a red shade in tub but when you apply its a coral or light pinkish red.I love the tint of the lipbalm. The lipbalm is sheer but buildable. Being a darker shade Kiss Me is pigmented and gives a tint or colour on your lips.It moisturizes very well but I dont think it will be suitable for heavy chapped lips because it is hydrating but not so nourishing or soothing. This lipbalm is non sticky and gives you shine. The vanilla scent is very nice. This lipbalm lasts for a hour or two after which I reapply.
- Adds Shine
- Cute Packaging
- Bright Shades
- Quantity is more
- Creamy and Smooth
- Pigmentation is decent
- Not so nourishing on chapped lips
- Reapplication required after a hour
- Unsanitary tub
If you are obsessed with cute girly packaging and bright pastel shades, you must try this. If you have chapped lips and do not like tub packaging you will regret purchasing this. Highly recommended if you are looking for a tinted hydrating lipbalm.
Final Word: It is a cheap alternative and super affordable. This lipbalm is a budget pick. It is adorable and has a cute girly edge to it. It is a lipbalm but it actually serves the purpose of a lip gloss. I don’t find this on the MUA Website now. I wonder if it was a LE or discontinued.
