Oriflame The ONE IlluSkin Powder Review !

PR Sample

Hey girls,
I have reviewed four products from Oriflame The One Collection. Well here comes the review of another product from The One Range. The Stylo Eyeliners, Volume Mascara, Foundation and Concealer. These four were from the October launch. This time it is a compact powder. The compact and Eye-shadows form the November launch. I will be posting an FOTD soon with all these six products.
Compact Powder The ONE IlluSkin provides the latest focus in the final stages of makeup, leaves a matte finish, giving a beautiful velvety and flawless look. My skin being oily, Compact is something that I use without fail. I love Oriflame The ONE IlluSkin Compact Powder which helps to mattify my oily skin.

Product Claim:

The ONE IlluSkin with SPF 12 is formed on the basis of technology Halo Light, and an excellent way reflects the light from the surface of the skin, making skin flawless. Powder with an ultra-thin silky texture blends perfectly with the skin and does not clog pores.
Basic properties of compact powder The ONE IlluSkin

  • reflects light, making skin flawless
  • provides the final accent makeup

How to Apply:
For applying powder, you can use the included applicator, and for hard to reach places a small brush. Powder should be considered as the final touch perfect makeup.
Ingredients:

Price: Rs.640 for 8 g

Shades: Oriflame The One Illusion Powder Light, Medium & Dark

My Take:

The packaging is similar to other compacts out there in the market. It comes in a purple carton and the actual product comes in a purple plastic case. It comes with a sponge applicator which picks up right amount of the product and applies evenly. I prefer using a brush though. Nothing fancy about the packaging and I feel it is easy to smash. It may shatter if you drop it from a small height.

Anyways, the compact case is practical for use.The case has a vanity mirror that makes touch up easy. The case is light to carry which makes it travel friendly. The cap of the case shuts tightly. The powder gives medium to full coverage and blends well on top of the foundation to give a flawless look.

It gives a silky matte finish. It doesn’t feel cakey, and it helps reduce my shine. It does help to control oil and sweat. It feels light. I have sensitive skin and It didn’t break me out. It lasts a reasonable amount of time. It isnt too drying.

The texture of powder is soft and fine. The powder doesn’t feel gritty. Its light fragrance doesn’t bother. When used with foundation or concealer from the one range it imparts a radiance to the face and seals the imperfections. I love it as a touch up and setting powder. I use this every other day. It comes with SPF 12.

Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Soft finely milled texture
  • Matte finish.
  • Evens out complexion.
  • Good Coverage
  • Mild fragrance
  • Suits all skin types
  • SPF 12.
  • Doesn’t break out
  • Light weighted
  • Doesn’t clog my pores
  • Easy to carry the case
  • Good packaging
  • Handy puff and mirror
  • Imparts a healthy natural glow
  • Shine control
Cons:
  • Fallout
  • Drying on dry skin
Overall Thoughts:

I don’t use this powder much but I love to pop it in my bag to keep my t-zone from getting shiny. On my skin tone this doesn’t leave a white cast. I use this as a touch up powder and apply only a light layer. It can be used as a light foundation or setting powder during the start of your day. This is an essential for every makeup bag as it’s easy to use on the go.
