Oriflame The One Stylo Eyeliners in Black and Blue Review, Swatches!

PR Sample

Hey girls,

Do you own a Liquid Liner Pen? I like those marker pen like liners which are waterproof and comes with a precision tip that draws thin or thick lines in one sweep. It is perfect for all kind of looks be it  softly subtle or gorgeously glam.
I am not well versed with Pen Eyeliners. This is the first one I ever tried but the application went smooth and it glided nicely like a breeze. Directly selling Beauty Giant Oriflame recently unveiled their One Range and I got all the products from the new launch. The one product that impressed me from this range is the “Stylo Eyeliner Pens” which I consider to be the Superhero.

Product Claim:
Achieve high colour precision with this advanced ink liner. Its fine applicator delivers exact colour which dries quickly and won’t smudge or fade.

Price:  Rs 429 for 0.8ml
Directions for use:

Apply the line directly over your eyelids. You can draw a thin line or a thick line in one swipe, smoothly. The product dries almost as soon as you apply it.

Availability: Online and via Oriflame Reps. Not available over the counter.
Ingredients:

Acrylates, Ammonium Methacrylate Copolymer, Glycerin, Laureth-21, Peg-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Laureth-12 Sulfate, Potassium Sorbate, Caprylyl Glycol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Citric Acid, Tetrasodium Edta, Dehydroacetic Acid, CI 77266 (Nano), CI 42090, CI 28440, CI 19140, CI 17200, CiI45410, CI 61570 and CI 16035.
My Take:

Oriflame Beauty Eye Liner Stylo Black and Blue comes in a marker pen like form. It is one of those beauty items that is easy to use.It is of great help to the beginners who are not clear about drawing fine lines and this liner can help you to achieve perfection. It helps to draw thick and thin precise fine lines and curves.

The tip is soft and not harsh. The packaging is dull but has colour coded bottoms that is useful. The application is breeze and I love the formula and consistency. It applies evenly. This eyeliner is thin in packaging and comes with a felt tip pointed applicator that allows you to add definition to the eyes.
It dries very quickly and doesn’t cause a mess. This product is long lasting. It is very easy and convenient to use this product. Oriflame Eye Liner helps you to outline your eyelids to look your best every time.  It is perfect tool for all occasions.

The shades are not deep or intense but is buildable with four to five swipes. I like the black shade most. It appears very light in one swipe but you can work on it to get a dark shade. I wish it was jet deep in shade but the colours didn’t disappoint me too.

What impressed me is its staying power. It lasts for 8 hours and it is smudge proof and water proof. It gets fully wiped off leaving no leftover stain with a makeup remover. It gets removed when I rub two three times with a hand wash soap. Removing this liner is not a big pain. It is water proof and smudge proof as long as you dont rub it.

I love the shade collection. Most of them are lovely wearable shade more towards the neutral side than bright. I can wear it anytime anywhere.  The pen liner is easy to carry in your bag, light weighted, travel friendly and sleek. It is a good option to use at workplace too.
It didn’t irritate my eyes unlike other products. I use it to keep my Bindi too.

Pros:
  • Precise thick as well as thin lines
  • Felt tip Applicator
  • Compact Travel Friendly packaging
  • Easy to use
  • Cap shuts tightly
  • Great for beginners
  • Even application
  • Good staying power
  • Decent pigmentation
  • Easy to remove
  • No irritation
  • Dries quickly
Cons:

  • Availability only via reps and online
  • Product in the tube may dry out just like other marker eyeliners
  • The price is on the higher side compared to other brands but you can get it with offers and discounts
  • Colour payoff is poor. Blue is not intense as black. The shades are not jet deep or dark.
  • I would like to see more shades in this range
  • Not suitable for waterline
  • It is waterproof as long as you dont rub it. If you rub it, it will come off
  • Initially leaked
Overall Thoughts:

I recommend it for beginners who are not well trained with eyeliners as it is easy to use and gives precise line. It requires no practice and minimum efforts. It is suitable for anyone who prefers a natural look than dramatic one and those who are into neutral shades than bold ones. It has equal pros and cons. I like the shade black out of all the colors.
