Hi,

I love toners for varied reasons.I have tried many toners. I already have 3 to 4 in my current skin care routine and I am reviewing the latest addition to it – Oriflame White Optimals Balancing Toner.

Women of all ages dreaming of a perfectly cleansed and refreshed skin.

Results:

Refreshed, balanced skin with reduced oiliness in the T-zone.

AQUA, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, PEG-40 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL, GLYCERIN, PHENOXYETHANOL, IMIDAZOLIDINYL UREA, SODIUM CITRATE, SODIUM BENZOATE, PARFUM, LACTIC ACID, METHYLPARABEN, DISODIUM EDTA, PROPYLPARABEN, ETHYLPARABEN, HYDROLYZED CRANBERRY FRUIT/LEAF EXTRACT, ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, CI 42090, CI 17200

Price: Rs 499 for 200 ml

My Take on the Product:

The product comes in a translucent white sturdy bottle.I like the shape of the bottle. The quantity you get for the price is good and this will easily last 3 to 4 months even if you use two times daily.

The bottle is somewhat big and hence not perfect for travel. But you can carry it if you want without worrying about spillage as the pack is strong.

It has a medium sized hole and you need to take out a few drops that is required per use on a cotton.

The opening delivers the desired amount of product. The toner is liquid and just like water. It has no color. It has a mild refreshing fragrance. It is very soothing.

It helps to control oil and shine upto a hour or two.The toner is gentle on skin.It gives tight feeling but no tingling sensation. It has a cooling effect on skin.

The toner over use helps to reduce pores and acne and gives your skin a healthy glow.I didnt get any breakouts or irritations.

Since it is for normal to combination skin the range is a bit drying.Use the moisturiser after this.

I love this toner.

Pros:

  • Not harsh and No redness
  • Visible toning results
  • Reduces pores over use
  • Refreshing smell
  • Long lasting
  • Controls oil
  • Removes dirt
  • Mild and gentle
  • No breakouts or irritations

Cons:

  • Bit drying
  • You may end up using more the quantity of product than required
  • Bulky and not so travel friendly packaging.I like medium sized spray type bottles for travel.
  • Expensive but you get a good quantity
  • Contains Parabens.I am afraid of the “C” word linked to it.

Rating: 4/5

Recommendation: Great for normal to combination skin.

Final Word: It is perfect for summer time. This works best for after office use. When your skin is tired, dull and full of dirt, this instantly wakes up your skin and gives a glow.
