24 Oct 2019 The Ultimate Travel Checklist!
If your trip often and always forget something at the last minute, all you need is a travel checklist.
I decided to write this because we were heading towards the airport on our Malaysia trip. Hubby asks whether everything is taken, I nod a big yes, we lock the door and proceed to the taxi waiting outside. We keep going and suddenly I remember I have forgotten my camera after 15 minutes. Luckily, we had enough time. I rushed back and took it. We reached the airport on time.
Never forget anything again with our ultimate travel checklist. It doesn’t matter whether you are a first-time traveler or a globetrotter. It’s always helpful to have a list of items you want to carry.
A few tips :
Always buy a light weighted, spacious yet versatile bag with warranty I prefer a compact size backpack or a rolling trolley. Organize your stuff. It’s better to roll the clothes than folding them depending on your trip. Do not carry unwanted items.
Make sure you carry only cabin luggage plus a handbag. It is better to avoid checked-in luggage, especially during international travel. It reduces costs, waiting time and hassles. It also guarantees that airlines won’t lose your bag.
Don’t carry liquids greater than 100ml.
If you are carrying a power bank, make sure it is not a part of the checked-in luggage. Avoid carrying sharp objects.
Install required travel apps that will help with language, directions, taxi, travel services, and money conversion. I suggest you to use Google Maps, Grab and Klook.
Consider travel security. Don’t carry valuables. Take care of your belongings. Lock your luggage.
