The Bridge Bar and Bristo

The Bridge Bar and Bristo !!

Explore in-house food and beverages at X2 River Kwai Resort !

The Bridge Bar and Bristo is a river view restaurant with an outdoor deck built inside the X2 Resort, Kanchanaburi. It is a perfect place to chill and hang out due to the casualties of the place and “rustic” style interior decors. They use the concept of “unpretentious luxury”, with food being served in a creative way that brings back the nostalgia of homely food.

The restaurant is modern and has floor-to-ceiling glass walls leaving an unobstructed beauty of nature around.

You can choose either to sit indoors or in the open-air outside. The outdoors are scenic with a riverside view, tabletop lanterns for a candle/moonlit dinner. This chic spot is styled with large sofas and chairs.

The restaurant doubles up as a lounge for all guests staying at the resort. The restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes as well as western cuisine. One can unwind at any time of the day in the bistro with a cup of coffee or a glass of drink.

We were offered a free champagne breakfast at the Bridge Bar & Bistro along with our accommodation. Their lunch and dinner menu were limited, a bit expensive but the food tasted delicious. The Chef is an amazing person.

The staffs were friendly but some of them are not so fluent with English and it took them long to understand what we were asking but they did try their best to satisfy us. The staffs are smiling and cooperative. They do not serve Indian food and mainly focus on European food because mainly foreigners visit the place. I am posting a few dishes that I tried and liked at The Bridge Bar and Bristo below:

The cocktail menu was so good! Do not miss to try their paprika flavored popcorns !!

I was amazed by the quick and admirable service they’ we got. Thank you team X2.

Do check out my articles on Kanchanaburi Tourist attractions and activities you can do while in this lovely resort. Many thanks for reading.
